Terms Of Use

  • Welcome to Coisceim Foot Clinic. By booking an appointment or receiving treatment at our clinic, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Appointments and Cancellations

  • We kindly require at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee, which will be added to your account.

  • Missed appointments without any prior notice (no-shows) will be charged the full consultation fee.

  • Please note that the first and standard appointment fees do not include: creams, medications, topical treatments, insoles, acupuncture, biomechanics, taping, gel layers/reconstruction, verrucae treatments, some ingrown toenail treatments etc All of the above will incur an extra charge.

2. Fees and Payments

  • Payment is due at the time of appointment. All online appointments must pay a deposit at the time of booking.

  • We accept cash and all major debit and credit cards. We do not accept cheques.

  • Fees are subject to change and will be clearly communicated prior to your appointment.

3. Health and Safety

  • Please inform us of any changes to your medical history or medications.

  • If you are feeling unwell, please contact us as early as possible to reschedule.

  • We maintain a safe and hygienic environment in compliance with healthcare standards.

4. Privacy

  • Your personal and medical information is treated as confidential and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

  • We will never share your information without your consent unless required by law.

5. Late Arrivals

  • If you arrive late, we may not be able to provide the full consultation time. The full fee still applies.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and a cancellation fee will apply.

6. Practitioner Availability

  • While we do our best to accommodate your preferred practitioner, availability cannot always be guaranteed.

  • If you choose “any practitioner” at the booking stage, you will be assigned to whoever is free. We are unable take requests for another practitioner in the comments box. Your online booking email confirmation will confirm which practitioner you will see. If you would like to change practitioner please ring the clinic during business hours and reschedule your appointment.

7.  Appointments 

  • If you have been to the clinic in the last 10 days and need to return for the same issue, you will need to book a check appointment. If you book a full appointment, a full appointment fee will be charged.
  • We can only cover so much in one appointment. Whilst we will endeavor to cover as much as we can in one appointment, multiple appointments may be necessary. 

8. Shellac & Gel Nails

All shellac or gel polish should be removed from toenails before your appointment or removal will incur an €10 extra fee. 

As shellac and gel removal are time consuming this may result in a shorter treatment time in your appointment. 

 

9. Refunds & returns

  • Deposits are refundable for online appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours notice. You may also reschedule with the  adequate notice and have your payment transferred to a new appointment slot. 
  • Refunds for online appointments will be returned to the card the booking was made with. This can take from 5-10 business days.
  • Our refund and returns policy lasts 28 days. If more than 28 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Prescription, cast or pre-ordered insoles cannot be returned.
  • To complete any return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

10. Swift Refund Policy

  • There is no refund on Swift treatments. While Swift is the most successful treatment available for the removal of verrucae and warts there is no 100% guarantee of success. Various treatment options are discussed with the patient and a joint decision is made by the practi9tioner and patient on which method to pursue. 
  • Swift has over 90% success rate in clinical trials after 4+ sessions, however the length of time that the patient has had the verruca does have an effect on this.

11. Orthoses Refund Policy

  • Cast devices: these are non refundable unless faulty as they are bespoke to each patient. Faulty devices must be returned to us with proof of purchase within 28 days or they are no longer eligible for refund. Devices are issued and reviewed with the patient either in person or via tele-health. 
  • It is the patients responsibility to raise any issues with us within a reasonable time frame. We will review for the patients for up to 2 weeks from issue. In the rare instance that there are issues. we will work with the patient to get the devices comfortable and to modify the fit. 
  • Off The Shelf Insoles: Refunds available within 28 days with original proof of purchase if the items are in original condition. If off the shelf insoles are worn or have been trimmed down or modified they are no longer eligible for return, unless faulty. 

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Digital gift cards
  • Any used or opened creams or medications.
  • Any appointment fees for completed services or missed, cancelled or rescheduled appointment within 24 hours.

12. Nail Reconstruction Refund Policy

  • Patients must take care not to damage or injure their reconstruction, the clinic does not take any responsibility for damage or injury due to inappropriate footwear or activities.
  • There is no change of mind refund available for reconstructions. This a cosmetic procedure which rebuilds a nail structure on damaged nails. It is designed to then painted over. It may look different and be slightly thicker to your other nails. 
  • In some very limited cases there may be a physical reason that a reconstruction fails. This may be due to biomechanics or footwear etc. It is the patients responsibility to take care of the reconstruction and to follow footwear advise and take care not to damage it.  If this is raised by the clinician and the patient decides to go ahead, we will redo the reconstruction once if it fails but no refund will be given. In the rare instance that a reconstruction fails for any other reason we will redo once free of charge. 

13. Nail Surgery Refund Policy

  • Surgeries with phenol are around 80% successful at preventing the removed section of nail from regrowing. There is no refund on nail surgery and cancellation fees will apply for appointments cancelled within 24 hours. 
  • Surgery may take place on one or multiple toenails and one or more sides of each nail. Your podiatrist will advise you on which surgery they recommend. It is the patient’s decision on how many toenails or sides of the nail they decide to proceed with. If you choose not to operate on one nail or side of the nail and future issues arise with this, this a new contact and fees will apply for any treatment of this. 
  • If nail surgery has taken place, once the site has healed, that treatment is complete. 
  • The patient must take care during the healing process. It is their responsibility to redress, follow their podiatrists advice and attend any follow up appointments.  Any trauma or damage to the site (dropping items on the toe, kicking or stubbing toenails, playing football, running or swimming before healing, wearing incorrect footwear etc) is the patients responsibility. 
  • It is the patient’s responsibility to follow correct footwear advice as repeated use of incorrect shoes may cause damage to the site and delay healing.
